Hello Castle fanmania

Okay, I admit it. I read the series tie-in book Heat Wave for the Castle television series. And you know what? It wasn’t that bad. Actually, I found myself zipping through it, trying to catch the killer. The same way I do with the episodes. I got the in jokes. I could picture Nathan Fillion there wisecracking. I enjoyed it. It took me away from the problems of the day. It wasn’t Shakespeare, but I don’t need it to be. I just wanted to spend some time away from my problems and get lost someplace where the good guys always win in the end, people are genuinely good and friends are plentiful. See you next week, Castle. Until then, I have Naked Heat to read up on. See ya!

  1. I have to admit that I was disappointing with the books… they had the potential to be so much more. On the show they're shown as so much thicker, and I couldn't buy that that kind of writing would lead to the new york times best seller list. They were easy reads though, I'll give you that 🙂
