A Day – Always

Okay, on the A-Z challenge here goes my entry!

Thanks first and foremost Arlee Bird for the A-Z challenge!

So my entries will be simple (I hope). For today…Always.

First is my favourite movie quotation involving the word ‘always’.

Free write: Always. A word that should never be bandied about as often as it is. She looked up at the steamy window. The rain had soaked her through to the bone, but she hadn’t felt anything since she’d seen the two of them, hand in hand. They’d giggled. She’d felt her heart shatter. He’d said he’d always love her. But always had just ended.

  1. A is for awesome, which is what your post was today. You are so right, we just the word always so much that it's meaning is watered down.

Good luck with the rest of the challenge. High five for both of us surviving the first day!

  2. Althea is my chosen middle name. It is Greek for heal/healing bush/to heal/healer.

Always – I used to tell my daughters anytime they said I ALWAYS did this that or the other, that I'm not consistent enough to always do anything. I don't much like the word either because it is rarely true.

Thank you for sharing your words. I like that you share character names.
